Thomas Halfdan Andersen started his career in Hong Kong in 1992. He first joined a Danish trading company within electronic components industry, servicing amongst others Danfoss in their early days in China.
Being an entrepreneur at heart he established and owns several companies amongst others a trading & consulting company (Tacam HK Ltd.) and further a travel service company (Hildebrand Int’l Travel Service Ltd.)
In 2004 he was appointed Vice Consul at the Royal Danish Consulate in Hong Kong with responsibilities within the Trade Counsel (eksportrådet) and further Deputy to the Consul General, a position he held until the closure of the Danish Consulate in Hong Kong in 2012. Thomas has since joined the Danish company Power Stow as Vice President of Sales & Marketing in Asia. Power Stow is a dedicated to the design, manufacturing and international marketing of the Power Stow Rollertrack Conveyor – a brand-new concept in mobile belt loading systems in aviation. Power Stow helps airport ground handlers to become faster and more efficient at loading & unloading bulk baggage and cargo, while improving working conditions for their people.
