DCC Hong Kong – a business platform for Danish and Danish-related companies and individuals
The Danish Chamber of Commerce (DCC) provides a forum for all business which relates to Denmark, or Danish related companies. Thus the focus is on the relations with Denmark and is not specific to the nationalities of individuals. DCC’s objective is to identify, examine and discuss matters of common interest affecting economic, industrial and commercial issues and objectives as well as health and educational matters.
The scope of activities embraces interest in the Greater Pearl River Delta in line with the policies of Hong Kong SAR and the desires of the PRC for Hong Kong to play a leading role in commercial activities in this vast and intensive concentration of industrial production and development. It is the declared goal of DCC to actively participate in integration between Hong Kong and the Greater Pearl River Delta and to create links to and between members and authorities in this region.
DCC further promotes Hong Kong and the Greater Pearl River Delta in Denmark and offers to facilitate exchanges between business entities in the respective areas. In addition, DCC acts as a link between its members and the Hong Kong Authorities, Health Institutions and in particular other Commercial Institutions in its aim to facilitate a good business environment for all concerned. It is also an active participant in debate concerning the environment.
DCC has corporate members representing medium and large business and individual members representing small and medium enterprises. Together they represent a workforce in excess of 10,000 men and women.
“Young Danish Professional” was established in 2004 for young professionals and students with connection to Denmark who are invited to participate in DCC’s events and presentations.
