Briefing on Government Infrastructure Projects in Hong Kong - Pipeline and Opportunities
As you will have seen, the Hong Kong Government has not been standing still and we have been busy upgrading key infrastructure in Hong Kong and our connectivity with the GBA. Major investments in building infrastructure will exceed HKD100 billion annually over the coming short to medium term. New cities will be built and new technologies will be needed.
This presents major business opportunities for companies in the entire value chain, from consultancy to engineering and construction, to technology and services.
In order to give potential contractors and their suppliers better visibility of the upcoming works, InvestHK and Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) are organizing a briefing session on “over-the-horizon” projects, explaining the development directions and pipeline of opportunities that these will generate.
Many of these projects are known in broad terms and the rapidly developing Northern Metropolis is one such example among many others.
